Just the other day, Apple made a surprising announcement when they unveiled the (Product) RED iPhone 7. For those unfamiliar, (Product) RED are basically Apple products that have been given a special makeover in which purchases of said products have their proceeds donated to the fight against AIDS.

We’ve seen Apple launch all kinds of (Product) RED products in the past, but we reckon this might be the first time that they’re doing it for the iPhone. That being said, we have to say that the red finish is a bit of a stunner and if you are curious about seeing what it looks like in real life, the folks at iMore have put together an unboxing video in which they show off the phone.

Of course what you see in the video might be a little different compared to what you see in the shop, but it’s probably a lot closer compared to see press images and renders. However the good news is that even in the unboxing, the red finish looks very sleek, although we can imagine that you’ll definitely not want to get it scratched.

The rest of the phone is pretty much standard iPhone 7/7 Plus depending on your preference. However we have been seeing fan renders of the phone with a black front instead of white, which we think looks better, but what do you guys think?
