Have you ever wished you were paid to play video games? That’s pretty much the job of professional gamers, but what if you aren’t cut out to be a professional gamer, does that mean there goes the dream of being paid to play? Hardly, because thanks to Razer, the company has launched their own paid to play program.

Now before you get too excited, there’s a good chance that you probably won’t be seeing the hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars that professional gamers make. You also won’t actually be paid in actual cash, but rather you will be paid in zSilvers which is Razer’s virtual currency.

The currency can be earned by playing games through Razer’s Cortex software and the supported titles at the moment include Paladins, League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, DotA 2, and Overwatch. So what can you do with zSilvers? Basically you can use them to redeem things like Razer products, discount vouchers, and “exclusive swag”, with the full list of redeemable rewards available via Razer’s website.

Admittedly this is a bit limiting in terms of what you can actually do, but we guess if you are planning on playing those games, or are already playing those games, why not accumulate some zSilvers at the same time and maybe get yourself a brand new mouse or keyboard at the end of it, right?
