Back in 2012, Capcom released Resident Evil Revelations. The game was originally designed for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console, but it was later brought onto Windows-based PCs, the PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii U. Fast forward to today and if this is a game you’re still interested in, you’ll be pleased with Capcom’s latest announcement.

In a tweet by the official Resident Evil account, it has been revealed that Resident Evil Revelations will be making its way onto the PS4 and Xbox One come Fall 2017 in both the US and EU markets. No specific dates were mentioned, and neither was pricing so we guess we’ll just have to wait and see.

Given that the game is already 5 years old, we’re not sure how much of a demand there is for it, especially with the release of Resident Evil 7 which has been met with very favorable reviews. However if you want to relive the good old days then we guess this is something you can look forward to in the not-too-distant future.

Given that the previous release was also available on the Wii U, we have to wonder whether or not it could eventually get ported onto the Nintendo Switch as well. There was no mention of Switch availability but hopefully for Switch gamers who want to enjoy the game, it will become a reality soon.
