Even if you don’t use it, there’s a good chance that you might have heard of the dating app Tinder which has made something of a cultural impact and has found its way into pop culture. Tinder is open to pretty much everyone with a Facebook account, but according to TechCrunch, there might exist a secret members-only version of the app.

Now this app isn’t a separate app, but rather it seems to be secret layer within the actual Tinder app itself that can only be accessed if you’ve been invited. So what is this secret version of Tinder? Dubbed “Tinder Select”, TechCrunch’s source has told them that this version of the app is “for celebrities and people who do really well on Tinder.”

So if you’re not a celebrity and you’re not really finding that much luck on Tinder, then don’t expect to ever get invited to this particular service. Members who were invited can apparently nominate others, but nominees are not allowed to nominate others which we guess is to help prevent too many people from being let in.

While we guess it does seem exclusive, Tinder won’t be the first dating service/app to offer up such exclusive services. The company has yet to officially confirm or announce the existence of Tinder Select, although TechCrunch notes that it has apparently been around for almost six months.
