Some of you guys might recall that back in 2012, Disney launched the Wreck-It Ralph animated movie, which focused on the character Ralph who was based on an arcade game. The premise of the movie was interesting as it took us around various arcade games, and it looks like the sequel will be taking us in a different direction.

Disney had previously announced that the Wreck-It Ralph sequel would be arriving in 2018, and now we finally have a release date as well as the title. In an announcement by Disney, it has been revealed that the sequel will be launched on the 9th of March, 2018 where it will be titled, “Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2”.

According to the movie’s co-director Rich Moore, “To take these characters we love and have them enter the enormous world of the internet has given us so much to explore. Our production team has been hard at work designing a world that takes something we all think we know – the internet – but shows it in a whole new, imaginative way.”

Exactly what we can expect remains to be seen, but given the success of the original, many are anticipating the sequel, but either way it looks like we have about a year of waiting before we get to see it. In the meantime is anyone excited to see what the Wreck-It Ralph sequel will bring to the table?
