There are countless reports online which show that the player community is not happy with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered DLC price that Activision has set. Many of them think that it’s a bit too high for what they’re getting with the downloadable content pack so they’ve taken to the internet to complain about Activision’s high price tag for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered DLC.

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered DLC is called the Variety Map Pack. It was first released for the PlayStation 4 last month. The DLC includes four upgraded maps and 10 Rare Supply Drops. The supply drops themselves cost $20.

The Variety Map Pack has been released for Xbox One and PC as well. The value addition for this $15 DLC is said to be the $20 supply drops which are coupled with the four upgraded maps. However, the player community doesn’t really see it that way.

Going by the comments on Activision’s own DLC announcement post on its blog as well as on Reddit, it’s evident that the player community isn’t happy with what Activision is offering them in the DLC that costs $15.

Some also point out that normally the point of a remastered title is that it includes all of the DLC released since the game was released. That’s one of the big reasons why many are viewing this as a blatant cash grab by Activision.

The publisher hasn’t said anything about this right now so it’s unclear if it’s going to change the price or make the DLC free in response to mounting criticism.
