If there is a common complaint that customers have regarding Apple’s 2016 MacBook Pros would be its price. These laptops do not come cheap and with the fluctuations in currency, especially in the UK, the new laptops are considerably more expensive than their predecessors, which means that not everyone will be able to afford it.

The good news is that if you really wanted the new MacBook Pros, you’ll be interested to learn that it seems that Apple’s refurbished store is now stocking the 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. The base model with an Intel Core i5 with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM is priced at $1,529 which is $270 cheaper than if you were to buy it brand new.

There is also a higher-end configuration with 16GB of RAM that is priced at $1,869 which is $330 cheaper than the brand new option. Note that prior to this Apple had already begun selling refurbished 2016 MacBook Pro models, although back then the only options available were the 13-inch MacBook Pro without Touch Bar, and just last month the 15-inch model with Touch Bar was available.

Refurbished laptops are more or less like brand new, with Apple replacing parts that might have exhibited wear and tear, although we guess maybe to some customers it isn’t quite as satisfying as buying a brand new laptop. However if you want to save yourself a few hundred bucks, then why not?
