Sling TV has been around for over two years now and the online TV streaming service has gradually built up its programming lineup. It has been adding premium channels that many know and love, the likes of HBO, Cinemax, and Starz are already available on the service. Sling TV today announced that Showtime will now be available for subscribers as well who are willing to pay a bit extra for the premium channel.

Sling TV is one of the most widely used over-the-top online TV streaming services out there, up against the likes of PlayStation Vue. Over the past few months, we’ve seen the Dish-owned service gradually improve the programming lineup and fans of this premium channel will certainly appreciate that they can now access it as an additional part of their Sling TV subscription.

Today’s announcement makes Sling TV the first over-the-top TV streaming service to provide users with content from four leading premium channels. Sling TV users can now add Showtime to their service by subscribing to Showtime premium for an additional $10 per month.

This provides them with a live streaming of the channel aside from almost 2,000 on-demand titles which include award-winning shows like Homeland and Shameless.

Channels in the new premium pack include Showtime, Showtime 2, Showtime Showcase, Showtime Extreme, Showtime Beyond, Showtime Next, Showtime West, and Showtime Women.
