Fans of Star Wars are probably pretty psyched about the upcoming movie, but for the fans who play the Star Wars game as well, you must have been thrilled when the official trailer for Star Wars Battlefront II was released. Clearly this game will bring about new features, but there are some features that will unfortunately be retained.

For PC gamers who are hoping that they will be able to enjoy split-screen co-op mode in the game where basically two players get to game on the same machine, you’re out of luck as it has been confirmed that split-screen co-op mode will remain as an exclusive to consoles just like it did with the previous game.

The post reads, “And exclusive to the console version of Star Wars Battlefront II will be two-player offline split-screen co-op. Get ready to team up with your friends from the comfort of your couch as the two of you battle across the Star Wars universe.” We’re not sure if this will change, but we doubt that it will.

In any case this probably isn’t really a deal breaker for gamers, but it could be worth mentioning all the same. Star Wars Battlefront II is set for a release on the 17th of November where it will be available for the Xbox One, PS4, and the PC. Pre-orders are currently open so go ahead and reserve your copy today.
