Following the success that was the first Injustice video game by NetherRealm Studios as well as the comic series, it made sense that the developers would be back for a second installment. Of course the second installment had to feature new characters and new gameplay, but at the same time it also had to keep some core elements around.
These core elements include some of the heroes and villains that were playable in the previous game, and one of them is the Flash. Now we know that the Flash would be making a return, but for those who are curious to see how the character plays in Injustice 2, you’ll be pleased to learn that a new gameplay trailer has been released.
In the video above, NetherRealm introduces us to the Flash and according to the description, “Once known as the fastest man alive, Barry Allen has hung up his boots in public shame after defecting from the Regime. However as a new enemy threatens the innocent, the Flash returns to action, determined to redeem himself.”
So far we have to say that Injustice 2 is look very, very good and for those interested in getting their hands on the game, pre-orders are currently open and it is set for a release on the 16th of May, 2017.
