Bungie is expected to release the sequel to Destiny later this year, and it is something that many gamers are probably looking forward to. However it seems that even without Destiny 2 released, the folks at Bungie might already know what they’re going to do for the title after that, which probably will be called Destiny 3.

How is that? According to a post on Reddit by user JakusSlayer, he claims to have attended  the Supanova Expo in Melbourne, Australia where he met Nolan North. For those unfamiliar, North is the voice actor for Destiny in which he voices the “Ghost” character. Speaking to North, JakusSlayer tried to get more information about Destiny 2 out of him but failed to do so, however North did mention that his contract with Bungie was for the next 10 years at least, suggesting that Bungie had plans for him.

He also noted that Bungie also has plans or at least has an idea of where Destiny 3 could be headed in terms of a story. Now we wouldn’t be surprised if Bungie did think that far ahead, however at the same time it’s easy enough to have an idea and we’re sure that with Destiny 2 planned for a release this year, Bungie is probably focusing their efforts on that rather that Destiny 3.

So like we said, perhaps Bungie just has an idea of where they want the game to go, but exactly how far along in development is another story. In the meantime Destiny 2 will be launched for the PC, something that many had asked for with the original.
