Ahead of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8, many believed that the phone could launch with dual cameras but that clearly did not turn out to be the case. However a leaked photo did suggest that Samsung was entertaining the idea, although why it did not make the final cut is a mystery.

This has led to rumors and speculation that the Note 8 could pick up where the Galaxy S8 left off and according to the latest report out of Korea from MK News (via The Android Soul), it seems like that will be the case. The report pretty much “confirms” earlier reports that states that the Note 8 will come with dual cameras, although the exact setup remains to be seen.

However what we’ve seen so far is that the popular combination is one lens will be a wide-angle, while the other will be a zoom, and together it will help capture better quality images and also to achieve that bokeh-like effect that are synonymous with DSLR/mirrorless camera systems.

Samsung has confirmed that they do plan to launch another flagship later this year which is presumably the Galaxy Note 8. Details about the phone are a bit scarce, but we guess dual cameras are one of its rumored features.
