By now most of you guys might have heard that HTC has a new flagship phone in the works that could be known as the HTC U 11. We know that HTC will be announcing the phone in the next week or so, but in terms of specs, everything we know so far is pretty much based on rumors and leaks.

That being said in case you wanted some kind of confirmation, you’re in luck because thanks to a recent sighting at GFXBench, the alleged specs of the HTC U 11 have been revealed, which also confirms what we have heard so far. Starting with the display, the HTC U 11 appears to sport a 5.5-inch screen with a QHD resolution.

We’re also looking at a Qualcomm octa-core processor clocked at 2.4GHz and while the model was not specified, it is safe to assume that it will be the Snapdragon 835. We’re also talking about 4GB of RAM, 64GB of onboard storage, and an 11MP rear-facing camera, and a 15MP front-facing camera.

While not mentioned in the specs, one of the key features of the phone is its frame in which the rumors are claiming it is touch-sensitive and will react to gestures and swipes to perform certain actions. The handset has been teased for an unveiling come 16th of May, so check back with us then for the details.
