It has been a while since Huawei came out with new MateBook models and it appears that the company is going to do that in the near future. Rumors suggest that the company might have a series of notebooks and 2-in-1s in the pipeline. The company has said that it’s going to conduct an announcement on May 23rd and that’s when it’s likely going to announce them officially.

Huawei has confirmed via Twitter that it’s going to announce its “latest products” on May 23rd at 14:00 CEST. The teaser accompanying the tweet makes it clear that it’s going to be a MateBook-related announcement.

Rumors suggest that Huawei may have up to three different MateBook models in the pipeline, including the MateBook E, MateBook D, and MateBook X.

The MateBook E is reportedly going to be the successor to Huawei’s original 2-in-1 MateBook while the other two models will be conventional clamshell notebooks. No specific information about the specs and features is available right now but we should find that out soon enough.

If rumors are believed, though, all three Huawei MateBook models could be running on Intel’s Kaby Lake processors hooked up to 8GB of RAM at the very least. If that really is the case, these devices will offer robust performance in a portable package. No word as yet on what the prices are going to be.
