If you love the idea of being able to bring a library of books with you wherever you go, ebooks are clearly the answer. However if your e-reader is getting a bit long in the tooth and you don’t mind getting your hands on a new one, you’ll be pleased to learn that Kobo has announced a new e-reader in the form of the Aura H20.

If you’re wondering why the name sounds so familiar, it is because back in 2014 Kobo launched a similarly named e-reader, so basically this model is a slightly newer take on the original, with the main difference being that it is smaller and cheaper than its predecessor. If a smaller e-reader is what you’re after then this could be worth checking out.

The new Aura H20 is IPX8 water resistant which means that you can take it with you to the beach or to the pool and getting it wet won’t really be that big of a deal. It will be able to withstand submersion underwater up to a depth of 2 meters for an hour, so unless you plan to go deep sea diving with it, it should be good with a couple of splashes.

It also sports a 6.8-inch 265ppi e-ink display and will be available come 22nd of May where it is priced at $179.
