A couple of months ago back in March, Capcom announced that they will be bringing Resident Evil Revelations onto the PS4 and Xbox One. The game was originally designed for the Nintendo 3DS before it was eventually ported onto the PC, the PS3, Xbox 360, and the Wii U, and if you’re wondering what the game will look like, you’re in luck.

Resident Evil Revelations was released in 2012 which means that it is considered somewhat dated by now. However given that it will be brought onto the PS4 and Xbox One, obviously certain upgrades in the graphics department had to be made, and now thanks to gameplay trailers released for both platforms, we can have a look at what to expect.

The game itself will remain largely the same but as you can tell from the trailer, it looks a little different from its predecessor, but we suppose in a good way. The game has currently been pegged for a release in Japan come 31sth of August, but at the moment there is no mention of when it will be released in North America or Europe, save for a vague timeframe of Autumn 2017.

There is also mention of whether or not it will be released for the Nintendo Switch, given that it found its way onto the Wii U, so we guess maybe Switch gamers shouldn’t hold their breaths for now.
