When it comes to external battery packs, we guess one of the main things users look for would be the battery size, and we guess in some cases whether it can support fast charging and if you can plug in more than one cable at a time. However if you wanted a battery pack that was also a little more functional, Samsung might have you covered.
The company has recently taken the wraps off its latest battery pack called the Samsung Battery Pack Kettle. For the most part this is a battery pack that features a 5,100mAh battery, but some of its more unique features includes a kickstand for cables that can also double as a kickstand for your phone, meaning that you can prop up your phone while it is charging and watch your shows or surf the web.
It also comes with a wrist strap so you can hang it around your wrist if that’s something you’d like to do. Other features include an LED bar status indicator that lets users know how much battery life it has left. The battery pack will support USB-A and micro USB, so if you were hoping for a USB-C battery pack then we guess Samsung isn’t quite ready to make the jump just yet.
