Samsung has a history of teaming up with other popular brands for its flagship smartphones. No wonder that we’ve seen Injustice and Iron Man editions of its previous flagship smartphones. Samsung may have teamed up with Disney to commemorate the upcoming release of Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and might launch a limited edition Pirates of the Caribbean Galaxy S8 case.

This isn’t being said with certainty yet because there has been no official announcement from either Samsung or Disney. However, several pictures have been uploaded on Weibo which show off not only the case but also some of the accessories that the case is going to be shipped with.

It appears that the Pirates of the Caribbean limited edition case for the Galaxy S8 is going to ship in a box that looks more like a chest out of one of these movies. There even appears to be a fake gold ring included in the box, sticking with the theme of making it feel like something out of a pirate’s chest of treasures.

It’s even claimed that the case will automatically apply a custom Pirates of the Caribbean user interface to the handset via NFC when it’s snapped on the Galaxy S8. The report mentions that Samsung is going to release this case in China initially next month where it will be sold for 300 yuan or $44.
