There have been countless rumors so far about two new hardware products that Apple is expected to unveil in the near future. We’ve heard about the 10.5 inch iPad Pro time and again. Recently there have been rumors about a Siri-powered speaker that would be similar to the Amazon Echo. A well regarded Apple analyst is of the view that both products are going to be launched next month.

In his latest note to investors, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has predicted that Apple is going to launch the 10.5 inch iPad Pro and the Siri speaker at the Worldwide Developers Conference 2017 next month.

Kuo predicts that due to a production ramp-up at the end of this quarter, it’s highly likely that Apple is going to announce a new iPad at its developers conference this year.

He also reiterates his belief that there’s a good chance that Apple is going to launch its much rumored Siri speaker next month. The device is said to feature a touch panel display and it’s believed that select Apple employees have been testing this device at home for several months now.

Since it’s meant as an Amazon Echo rival, the speaker will have Siri baked in which will provide users with a host of features, including but not limited to music streaming, smart home control, and more.
