Every year without fail Valve holds a summer sale for its gaming platform Steam. This is a much-anticipated event simply because the discounts on the games are pretty huge and it allows gamers to finally buy the games they want without spending too much money. That being said, it seems that this year’s summer sales dates might have been leaked.

In a post on Reddit (via VG247) where an alleged screenshot of the dates were posted and shared. This is supposedly only available to developers which means that whoever leaked the dates must be one the developers whose games are on Steam. According to the screenshot, the dates for the Steam Summer Sale have been set for the 22nd of June where it will kick off at 9:50 AM PT and will run until the 5th of July at 10:05 AM PT.

This means that the sale will run for roughly two weeks which is pretty much in line with what we’ve seen in the past. As to whether or not the leaked information is accurate remains to be seen, so we’ll just have to wait and see. In any case gamers have got a little over a month before it kicks off, assuming it’s true, so it’s time to start saving money if there are a ton of games that you’ve got saved on your wishlist!
