Ubisoft Unveils $800 Assassin’s Creed Origins Collector’s Edition

Publishers and developers typically release deluxe and collector’s editions of games where they will usually include things like artbooks, an official soundtrack, bonus in-game items, and so on, and for the most part these collector editions will run for a little more than the regular version of the game.

However in Ubisoft’s case, it seems that the collector’s edition of Assassin’s Creed Origins will cost gamers much, much more than one might expect. Dubbed Dawn of the Creed Legendary Edition, it seems that this particular collector’s edition will be costing gamers a whopping $800 to own, although given that price tag we reckon that this is probably aimed at the more hardcore fans of the franchise.

So what do you get for $800? You will get a Gold Steelbook Edition of the game, a 28.7-inch statue of the game’s protagonist Bayek and his eagle Senu, a world map, four lithographs that have been signed by Ubisoft Montreal studio’s artists, a soundtrack for the game, a season pass, an art book, art cards, and Bayek’s eagle amulet.

Is this worth $800? We guess that will depend on gamers, but like we said at that price point, it seems like it would be catered more towards the more ardent fans of the franchise or collectors who love collecting limited edition things.
