Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Origins is currently set for a release later this year on the 27th of October, but if you can’t wait then you might be interested to learn that Ubisoft has since announced a mobile version of Assassin’s Creed in the form of Assassin’s Creed Rebellion that will be released for iOS and Android.

According to Ubisoft, “Giving players the chance to build their own Assassin Brotherhood, manage a fortress, and engage in covert missions against the Templars, Assassin’s Creed Rebellion brings together a roster of more than 40 Assassins. Recruit familiar Assassins such as Ezio, Aguilar, Shao Jun, Claudia, and Machiavelli, along with more than 20 new unlockable characters exclusively created for Assassin’s Creed Rebellion.”

From Ubisoft’s description, it doesn’t sound like your typical Assassin’s Creed game. Instead the description of the gameplay sounds like what you might expect from farming simulators, except with assassins. It’s not a bad idea and should prove to be a rather interesting take on the franchise, not to mention the characters do look pretty cute in the drawings.

Unfortunately the game is still currently in development according to Ubisoft. It is also recommended for iOS devices running on iOS 8 or later, and Android devices running on Android 4.1 or later with at least 2GB of RAM.
