Ever since Blizzard announced their plans to bring Diablo 2’s Necromancer character to Diablo 3 last year, many gamers have been wondering when exactly that will be taking place. Unfortunately for the longest time ever, Blizzard has kept mum on the release date, although they have been actively updating gamers about their progress.

Now for those who are looking forward to getting their hands on the “Rise of the Necromancer” DLC pack, you’ll be pleased to learn that Blizzard has officially announced that the DLC will be released on the 27th of June where it will be available simultaneously across the PC, the PS4, and the Xbox One.

For those who might have missed the announcement at BlizzCon last year, the Rise of the Necromancer DLC pack will introduce the Necromancer character from Diablo 2 into Diablo 3. However in addition to the introduction of the character, the DLC will also include a non-combat pet, a set of cosmetic wings that players can attach to their characters, a Necromancer themed Banner Shape, Sigil, and Accent, a new Necromancer portrait frame, a pennant, two additional character slots, and two additional stash tabs (this is a PC-only feature).

The DLC will also be released alongside Patch 2.6.0 which is a free update, which will also include Challenge Rift, The Shrouded Moors zone, the Temple of the Firstborn zone, and the Realms of Fate. The patch and its contents are free, but the Rise of the Necromancer DLC will be sold separately for a price of $14.99.
