There have already been countless rumors that Samsung is going to release the Galaxy Note 8 ahead of schedule. The company was previously expected to come out with this handset at the IFA trade show in Berlin this September. The rumor mill now believes that Samsung is actually going to unveil this handset sooner. A new rumor out of China suggests that the Galaxy Note 8 is going to be launched in mid-August at an event in New York City.

The rumor out of China claims that Samsung is going to officially unveil the Galaxy Note 8 in the third week of August and that the launch event is going to take place in New York City.

Samsung was previously expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 at IFA 2017 in Berlin. The company has used the IFA stage multiple times in the past to unveil new Galaxy Note devices so many believe that it’s going to be that way in 2017 as well.

It goes without saying that Samsung hasn’t confirmed this so nothing is set in stone so far. We can’t really say for sure when the company is planning to unveil its next flagship smartphone.

Samsung is likely going to confirm the official launch date a couple of weeks before it’s due. We can expect the confirmation to come in either by late August or by early September.
