Samsung has announced that it’s offering the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ Bixby Voice features to select owners in the United States as part of an early access program that’s meant to test the assistant’s prowess with an English-speaking demographic before its wider release. Samsung has only released Bixby Voice in South Korea so far where it supports the local language. Recent reports had suggested that Samsung was facing troubles making Bixby work properly with the English language.

Samsung has taken a lot of flak for not having Bixby Voice available on time. Sure, the assistant is capable of doing everything that was promised for users in South Korea, but millions of Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ owners across the globe have no idea when they will be able to use one of the biggest software features of this new flagship.

Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ owners in the United States can now register to be selected in the group of users who will be given the chance to check out Bixby Voice prior to its official release.

Head over to this link and submit your entry with the email address that’s associated with your Samsung account. A Samsung account is mandatory. The company will later notify those who have been selected to take part in this test.

Samsung has not yet confirmed when it’s going to properly release Bixby Voice with support for the English language.
