It is probably a given that Google is working on new Pixel phones. We’re expecting at least two phones this year like we did last year, but there are rumors that there could be a third phone in the works as well. However regardless of the rumors, a device has surfaced on GFXBench which is allegedly that of the Google Pixel XL 2, the larger of the two devices.

Assuming the benchmarks are accurate, which sometimes they aren’t as they could be testing out prototypes, the Pixel XL 2 appears to sport a 5.6-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1312. We are also looking at an octa-core Qualcomm CPU clocked at 2.4GHz but there was no mention of its make and model, although it does appear to sport an Adreno 540 GPU.

It also appears to be packing 4GB of RAM which some might argue seems a bit low especially with handsets out there sporting 6GB of RAM. It also seems that the phone will come with 128GB of storage which we’re not sure if it is the default amount or if it is one of the higher tier offerings in terms of storage.

Other hardware features also includes a 12MP rear-facing camera, a 7MP front-facing camera, and it looks like it is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but Google is expected to unveil the handset later on in the year so check back with us in the coming months where hopefully we’ll have more details to share.
