One of the main differences in gaming headsets and regular headphones is that for the most part, most gaming headsets out there come with built-in microphones, usually in the form of a boom mic that helps gamers communicate with each other in games; regular headphones, not so much.

However this also means that sometimes your gaming headset can’t really be used as a normal headset for when you’re out and about, unless you don’t mind having a huge boom mic getting in the way, but that’s a problem that Logitech has solved with its new gaming headsets – the Logitech G433 and G233.

With the G433, this is the more expensive headset of the two and is priced at $99.99. It will feature virtual surround sound thanks to DTS Headphone X 7.1 technology and will have a hydrophobic, stain-resistant fabric finish, meaning that you’ll be able to sweat with it and it shouldn’t get them dirty.

The G233 will be the cheaper model at $79.99 but despite the lower price tag, both headphones will feature Logitech’s Pro-G drivers and will come with removable boom microphones, making them ideal for use when gaming or for when you’re going out and don’t need or want the microphone. Both headphones are currently available for purchase, so head on over to Logitech’s website for the details.
