There is a lot of anticipation surrounding the next flagship smartphone from OnePlus. The company has confirmed bits and pieces of information about the new handset but it’s yet to confirm when it’s actually going to unveil the OnePlus 5. There have been many rumors about the expected launch date, the latest suggesting that it might be made official on June 20th. Multiple rumors have previously suggested that OnePlus was going to unveil the handset on June 15th, even though there hasn’t been an official confirmation from the company just yet.

The OnePlus 5 is the company’s new flagship smartphone. It’s expected to feature a 5.5 inch display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage. It may also have a 16 megapixel dual rear camera system and a 16 megapixel front camera.

A teaser is making the rounds on social media in China and it’s claimed that the teaser reveals when OnePlus is going to unveil the OnePlus 5. According to the teaser, the new flagship will be unveiled on June 20th.

There’s no word from the company about the authenticity of this information and the teaser itself doesn’t seem to have been traced back to OnePlus, so take this information with a bit of salt right now. No word as yet on when the handset will actually be released and how much it’s going to cost.
