Sometimes gaming reviews of certain games bring up a point about how a game might be fun to play, but it can sometimes feel a bit shallow in terms of the story. Apparently that is something that gamers will not have to worry about when it comes to Bungie’s upcoming Destiny 2 which is said to pack a ton of story content.

Speaking to IGN in the IGN First video above, the game’s senior narrative lead Jason Harris and cinematic lead Matthew Ward joked about how the game has so much story content where they’re hoping gamers will complain about it. According to Harris, “I think it’s important to really understand the studio spent a lot of time world building. I can’t emphasize enough that we are ready to tell stories in this world. Big, expansive, and cinematic stories.”

Ward adds, “We certainly learned a lot by listening to people, by playing it with other people, by exploring the world in a one to one manner with our audience. As we explored it, we found stories that we personally wanted to tell. We’re learning from all the feedback we got from Destiny 1, and applying it.”

“I hope people complain about how much story we have. That would be the reddit thread I’d like to read.” Destiny 2 is currently set for a release on consoles this coming September, while the PC version will be released in October.
