Recent renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have appeared online. However if there is one feature that was not shown in the renders is the S Pen that is one of the handset’s key features, or at least until recently where a post on Slashleaks (via SamMobile) reveals a couple of alleged photos of the S Pen belonging to the Note 8.

That being said, based on the rather blurry images, it’s hard to tell if there is anything different between this stylus and the ones Samsung had provided in previous Note handsets. To be fair Samsung has never really made any major changes to the S Pen in all the years that it has been available, and we doubt that they would do so now. After all why fix what’s not broken, right?

We expect that Samsung will probably rely more on the software side of things to make use of the S Pen, as opposed to changing the hardware. We’re not sure what kind of new features that we can expect yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see. Samsung has recently confirmed that the Note 8 will be officially announced on the 23rd of August, so do check back with us in the coming month for the details.
