As we get closer to the fall with each passing day, rumors about the handsets that are updated every fall start to increase. We’ve now started hearing whispers and rumors about the Huawei Mate 10 which is also due this fall. Recent reports suggest that the handset is going to have a bezel-less display as is the trend these days. It’s also said that the device is going to be released in October this year.

According to previous reports, the Huawei Mate 10 is going to be powered by a 10nm Huawei Kirin 970. No further information about the handset’s specifications is available at this point in time. It’s believed that the device will have a fingerprint sensor integrated into the display.

The latest reports claim that the Huawei Mate 10 is going to have a 2,160×1,080 pixel resolution display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It would be 6 inches in size, apparently. The Huawei Mate 9 has a 5.9 inch display with 16:9 aspect ratio. If these numbers are true, the Huawei Mate 10’s display will be taller than its predecessor but narrower and would require less surface area.

It has also been rumored that the Huawei Mate 10 might feature 3D sensing dual cameras which may be used for some augmented reality features, though it’s far from confirmed at this point in time. Huawei hasn’t said anything about this device so far and we can’t expect it to before the handset is actually unveiled officially.
