Motorola today unveiled the much-rumored Moto Z2 Force Edition handset today. That’s not the only piece of hardware coming out of the Lenovo-owned company today. It has also confirmed the pricing and availability details for the 360 degree camera Moto Mod. Motorola initially announced this Moto Mad at an event in Ghana earlier this month. It has now confirmed when this Moto Mod will be available in other markets across the globe.

The new 360 Camera Moto Mod is compatible with Moto Z handsets. Once this module is snapped on to the device, it turns into a 360 degree camera. It enables users to record interactive 360 degree 4K video featuring immersive audio with one touch of a button.

The module also enables users to capture a whole new perspective with 150 degree ultra wide-angle still front and rear photos.

Advanced editing software is present onboard Moto Z handsets so that users can easily edit their 360 degree photos and videos. They can then be stored locally or shared online via multiple social media channels.

Motorola has confirmed today that the Moto 360 Camera Mod is going to be available globally for $299.99 starting August 10th. Exact availability details will vary by market. Motorola’s new flagship smartphone, the Moto Z2 Force Edition, will also be released on August 10th.
