HMD Global and Nokia are certainly making up for lost time. Earlier this year several Nokia-branded handsets were launched, and the rumors are suggesting that we might be able to expect more phones too in the form of 1-2 flagships. Now according to the latest report out of China, it seems that at least 4 new Nokia phones have been pegged for a release by the end of the year.

The report claims that the handsets in question are the Nokia 2, Nokia 7, Nokia 8, and the Nokia 9. The latter two phones are the rumored flagships that we’ve been hearing about, but to date we haven’t really seen or heard much about them, other than the possibility that they’ll pack the latest hardware and also possibly Carl Zeiss cameras.

Details about the Nokia 2 and Nokia 7 are next to nothing at the moment. Presumably based on the model numbers, the Nokia 2 will be an entry-level handset, while the Nokia 7 will most likely be a mid-ranger, possibly a step up above the Nokia 6. In any case it’s probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now, but like we said if the rumors are true, HMD and Nokia are certainly making up for lost time by flooding the market with Nokia phones just in 2017 alone.
