In a market where there are already quite a few established players, we’re sure that as beloved as the Nokia brand is/was, there were probably some who were questioning the company’s decision to re-enter the mobile market. However it turns out that despite being out of the game for a while, Nokia’s brand and reputation is still holding firm.

It seems that the recently released Nokia 6 has managed to top Amazon’s charts for unlocked cell phones in the US. We’re not sure exactly how many units a handset must sell in order to qualify to be part of this list, but it’s still a pretty impressive feat by Nokia and HMD Global nonetheless, and we’re sure that they could use the hype to help push more phones.

For those wondering, the Nokia 6 is a mid-range handset that packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset under its hood. It comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a 16MP rear-facing camera. Given its specs and its price, it’s actually priced pretty decently.

If you’re looking for a “better” Nokia phone, HMD is said to have a couple of flagship Nokia-branded smartphones in the works. The company has recently partnered up with Carl Zeiss which means that these flagships should be bringing back the Zeiss camera lens that Nokia phones used to be known for.
