Samsung is yet to come out with a handset that features a dual camera system on the back. We heard countless rumors that the Galaxy S8 was going to have a dual camera but that didn’t happen. We’re now hearing similar rumors about the Galaxy Note 8. Some also suggest that there might be a mid-range handset that gets the honor of being Samsung’s first dual camera smartphone before the Galaxy Note 8. That device might be the Galaxy C7 (2017).

Nothing has been officially confirmed by Samsung at this point in time so it’s unclear if and when the company will be launching the Galaxy C7 (2017). It’s also not the only handset that’s expected to be the first to come out with a dual camera system.

Samsung has the Galaxy C10 and a variant of the Galaxy J7 (2017) in the pipeline that are said to boast two cameras at the back. If any one of those devices makes it to the market before the Galaxy C7 (2017), then the crown will certainly go to them.

No further information has been revealed about the Galaxy C7 (2017) at this point in time. Chances are, this mid-range handset is going to be limited to China, but it could be released in a handful of other markets if Samsung so desires.

As far as the Galaxy Note 8 is concerned, there’s a pretty good chance that it will be Samsung’s first flagship smartphone with a dual camera.
