If you use Snapchat a lot, you will be pleased to learn that the app has recently received an update that will introduce a bunch of new features that you might find useful in your daily use. This includes features such as voice filters, the ability to add backdrops, and also the ability to add links inside of your snaps.

Starting with the links, this feature is called Paperclip and basically like we said, it lets users add links inside of their snaps. This means that you could record a video talking about a website and add a link to it so that your viewers can click on it, which we guess makes it ideal for sponsored content and influencers who want to share links to products.

Next up is backdrops where users can choose a variety of images that they want to appear in the background of the photo. Users can then draw over parts of the photo that they want to have appear in the foreground. Last but not least are voice filters, which we guess are pretty self-explanatory as it basically adds an effect to your voice.

The update will also add on-demand geofilters that was announced last week, where users can now easily create custom geofilters within the Snapchat app for a price. The update should be live so do update your app if you haven’t done so already.
