EA today confirmed the Star Wars Battlefront 2 multiplayer beta release date. Fans of the franchise have been looking forward to taking the multiplayer experience for a spin and EA has now revealed when they will be able to do that. The beta will go live in a couple of months for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Origin for PC.

EA has confirmed today that the Star Wars Battlefront 2 multiplayer beta is going to go live in the month of October.

Those who have pre-ordered a copy of the upcoming title will be able to access the beta on October 4th. Everyone else with a PlayStation 4, Xbox One or gaming PC will be able to play the beta two days later on October 6th.

Players will get to experience some of the best of what Star Wars Battlefront 2 has to offer in the multiplayer beta across iconic planets into the far reaches of space. They will get to dive into Naboo: Theed in Galactic Assault where they join Republic clone troopers and Separatist battle droids in a wild fight on the streets adjacent to the royal palace.

A multiplayer Starfighter Assault battle is also included in the beta which will let players pilot some of the most memorable starfighters from the Star Wars universe.

The beta is going to run through October 9th so those who want the maximum possible time with it should pre-order a copy of the new game right now if they haven’t already.
