If you’re looking to play a bit of Street Fighter on your phone, you might be interested to learn that Capcom has announced that Street Fighter IV Champion Edition is now available on iOS devices. The game is not free and will cost gamers $4.99, although the upside is that it looks like there are no in-app purchases, so what you see is what you get.

According to Capcom, “Take control of 25 world warriors and test your mettle against players from around the world. Street Fighter 4: Champion Edition perfects the winning gameplay formula by offering higher resolution graphics, three new characters (Poison, Ibuki and Dudley) wide screen support for newer iOS devices and a host of updates and refinements.”

Also we should point out the fact that it will be support for MFI controllers, meaning that if you’d rather play using physical controllers instead of virtual ones, you have that option. However take note that the controllers only work during gameplay itself, meaning that you won’t be able to use the controls during the menu selection process.

If this sounds like a game you wouldn’t mind getting your hands on, then head on over to the iTunes App Store for the details.
