You don’t find mailroom services at every housing and apartment complex that guarantees safe processing of packages for the residents. In order to limit the possibility of packages being stolen or ending up missing, Amazon has introduced its very own delivery locker service called The Hub. It can basically be defined as a set of lockers where Amazon parcels are delivered and stored safely.

Amazon’s The Hub delivery locker system is a good option for housing and apartment complexes that don’t have mailroom services. All packages meant for residents in that complex are delivered and stored within The Hub.

When the customer wants to receive their parcel, they just have to enter their pickup code into the system and the correct door will open to the locker that holds their parcel. According to Amazon, The Hub will accept deliveries from any sender and any retailer.

The Hub is available in multiple sizes, ranging from the Starter Hub, which is six feet in width and has 42 compartments. An expansion module can be attached for an additional 23 compartments.

Since Amazon isn’t directly selling The Hub to individual customers, it would make no sense to do so, it hasn’t revealed the price for The Hub. Those who are interested in getting one are asked to submit a form that contains details about their complex.
