When Psy’s Gangnam Style broke onto the scene several years ago, it achieved something that no YouTube video has ever achieved when it broke YouTube’s view counter. It went on to become the most-viewed YouTube video in history, but it looks like that is no longer the case as Wiz Khalifa has since managed to snag that position.

Wiz Khalifa’s video and song See You Again featuring Charlie Puth has since become the most watched video on YouTube by accumulating over 2.9 billion views. This is versus Psy’s Gangnam Style which has managed to gather 2.895 billion views, which we guess is a pretty close match, but for now Wiz Khalifa has managed to steal the crown.

The song was released back in 2015 and was used on the soundtrack for the Furious 7 movie towards the end where a tribute of sorts was paid to the late actor Paul Walker. Its release in 2015 also means it was released after Gangnam Style, but yet managed to accumulate more views than it, proving that perhaps it might be a more popular video.

We’re not sure if there will be any video that will have what it takes to surpass either Gangnam Style or See You Again, but you can bet that we’ll be extremely interested to see what that video might be.
