Xbox One X Console Controller Front Tilt Top

Earlier last month during E3 2017, Microsoft officially took the wraps off Project Scorpio, which has since been officially referred to as the Xbox One X. The console is currently set for a release come 7th of November and for those who are eager to pre-order the console, know that you won’t have to wait much longer.

Microsoft has been a bit mum on when pre-orders will begin, which has led to some gamers tweeting their questions. The good news is that in a reply to one tweet, Microsoft’s Xbox boss Phil Spencer was quoted as saying, “Our plan is set for this.  All approvals are done so now just landing the announce with all the info, won’t be too much longer.”

Spencer does not provide us with any specific dates, but it sounds like everything is good to go and now they’re just deciding when to make the announcement. Hopefully it won’t be too long, and given that Gamescom is coming up next month, perhaps Microsoft might use that as an opportunity to make their announcement.

The Xbox One X will be priced at $499 which is higher than what the competition, such as Sony, is charging for their consoles. We saw Microsoft make the mistake once with the Xbox One, but it seems that Microsoft is pretty sure that gamers will respond favorably.
