For whatever reason, the Android Wear 2.0 update for the ASUS ZenWatch 2 and ZenWatch 3 was delayed. However we had heard that the update could arrive for the ZenWatch 3 on the 11th of July, but clearly that did not happen. However the good news is that it is finally here, and better late than never, right?

If you own the ZenWatch 3, then you might want to check for the update that will bump the operating system up to Android Wear 2.0. The update will be bringing about all the new features and improvements that were promised, so do keep an eye out for it as it should be rolling out to users as we speak.

Android Wear 2.0 was originally announced back in 2016 and would have been released back then too, although Google later delayed its launch as they claimed that feedback from the community led them to make some changes that required the release to be delayed. The update began rolling out to the bulk of compatible Android Wear devices earlier this year, but there were still some devices like the ZenWatch 2 and 3 that weren’t on the list, at least until today.
