Bungie’s Destiny 2 is expected to be released early next month, and for gamers who can’t wait and would like to sate their appetite, you’ll be pleased to learn that Bungie has since released a new launch trailer for the upcoming game, which as with most trailers, does a pretty good job of hyping up its release.

Destiny 2 will be the second installment in the Destiny franchise and it will also mark the first time that a Destiny game will be arriving on the PC. What’s interesting is also the fact that Destiny 2 will be exclusively available via the Battle.net launcher from Blizzard, which also marks the first time that the launcher has been used for a non-Blizzard game. However given that Destiny 2 is published by Activision, it’s not hard to see how this worked out.

The game is currently scheduled for a release on consoles on the 6th of September, but it is also expected to find its way onto the PC at a later date. Gamers who are interested in the PC version of the game can look forward to taking part in the game’s open beta which is currently scheduled for a release towards the end of August. The PC version is expected to be similar to the console version, but given that PCs can be upgraded to sport better hardware, graphics wise PC gamers with higher-end rigs will get to enjoy a better-looking game.
