According to Google, one in five Americans suffer from seasonal allergies, which can be incredibly annoying and not to mention very inconvenient when you are trying to get things done. While Google probably can’t dispense you medicine or create a cure for your allergies, the next best thing they can do is probably help you plan your day.

Google has announced that they will now be including pollen forecasts in search results when you search for it, similar to how you would search for the weather, searching for answers to mathematical problems, search for movie release dates, and so on. According to Google, “To make the most up-to-date and accurate information available, we’ve worked with The Weather Channel to integrate their pollen index and forecast data information directly into Google.”

Google also says that users can turn on reminders so that if and when the pollen count in your area is particularly high, you can be notified about that as well. “In addition, when the pollen count in your area is particularly high, you can receive reminders in the Google app. To opt in to these notifications, just search for pollen levels, pollen forecast or a similar query on Google, then tap “turn on” when prompted.”

The feature should already be live so if you do suffer from pollen allergies, then this could be a rather efficient way of dealing with it and planning your day and week.
