Huawei fans are looking forward to the company’s new phablet. The company usually launches its new Mate phablets around the fall every year which is why Huawei was expected to unveil the Mate 10 in the coming months. If a new report is to be believed, the Huawei Mate 10 launch date is going to be October 16th. The company is said to conduct the launch event in Munich, Germany.

According to the report, Huawei is going to unveil the Huawei Mate 10 phablet at an event in Munich on October 16th. It’s also claimed that a smaller Huawei Mate 10 Lite is going to be unveiled at this event as well alongside the flagship handset.

Huawei hasn’t confirmed this officially, though, so take it with a grain of salt. Even if the company does unveil the handset on October 16th, it may take a couple of weeks before it’s actually shipped to customers in the initial launch markets.

As far as the Mate 10’s specifications go, previous reports have suggested that it’s going to feature a 6 inch edge-to-edge display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It may be powered by Huawei’s first 10nm chipset, the Kirin 870, with 4GB of RAM.

Expect the device to have flagship-level features so a dual camera system and a metal build are quite plausible.
