Lenovo continues to manufacture and sell smartphones under its own brand so it’s not just relying on Motorola to establish its footing in the smartphone space. Lenovo recently confirmed that it was going to use stock Android on its own smartphones from now on. The company today announced its first smartphone with stock Android, the Lenovo K8 Note.

The Lenovo K8 Note is a mid-range device with the specs to match. It features a 5.5 inch full HD IPS LCD display with a MediaTek Helio X23 processor under the hood. It’s available in 32GB and 64GB storage options with 3GB and 4GB of RAM respectively.

It features a dual camera at the back with a 13 megapixel primary and 5 megapixel secondary sensor. There’s a 13 megapixel front camera onboard as well. Additional specs include a microUSB port, 3.5mm headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Previous Lenovo smartphones had the Vibe Pure UI skin on top of Android but Lenovo has ditched that because it has listened to its customers and they’ve told the company that they prefer stock Android. The Lenovo K8 Note is the company’s first smartphone to come with stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat.

The handset is exclusive to Amazon India at this point in time and it’s unclear when Lenovo is planning to release it in other markets. Prices for the K8 Note start at $203.
