We first heard about the new Moto X4 a couple of months back. It was reported then that the Lenovo-owned company had yet another mid-range handset in the pipeline. It hasn’t updated the Moto X lineup since 2015 so it will be interesting to see what it comes up with now. Details about the new Moto X4 have been leaked in a new report.

The report claims that the Moto X4 is going to feature a 5.2 inch full HD display and will measure 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm while weighing 163 grams. Motorola is expected to launch four global variants of this handset.

All four models are reportedly going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage in Europe, North America, and Latin America. The handset is said to feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage in the Asia Pacific region.

Aside from the 16 megapixel front camera, there’s reportedly going to be a dual camera at the back with a 12 megapixel main sensor and an 8 megapixel ultra-wide secondary sensor. A dual-LED flash and Phase Detection Autofocus are said to be onboard.

Keeping the lights on will be a 3,000mAh battery with support for Motorola’s TurboCharging feature. The Moto X4 is said to be IP68 dust and water resistant.

It’s unclear at this point in time when Motorola is planning to launch this handset and how much it’s going to cost.
