Nintendo has some pretty big titles coming up and if you’re interested in learning more about Super Mario Odyssey and Metroid: Samus Returns, you will be pleased to learn that Nintendo has confirmed that they will be streaming both games live at the upcoming Gamescom which will be taking place later this month.

Neither title has yet to be released which means that these livestreams will provide gamers with an idea of what they might be able to expect. Super Mario Odyssey will be a Mario title that will be headed towards the Nintendo Switch. It is a bit different from the other Mario titles we’ve seen in the past, but from the various gameplay videos, it does seem to have rather interesting mechanics that should help keep the franchise fresh and exciting.

As for Metroid: Samus Returns, this is a title that is destined for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console, and is not to be confused with Metroid Prime 4 (working title) which was announced for the Nintendo Switch at E3 a couple of months ago. However given the reputation and history of the Metroid franchise, it is still a highly-anticipated title nonetheless.

The streaming times for Super Mario Odyssey is expected to begin at 2PM UK time on Wednesday, the 23rd of August, while Metroid will be livestreamed at 11PM UK time on Thursday, the 24th of August.
