The Xbox One X is the most powerful console that Microsoft has ever built. It’s actually the most powerful console ever and will be ahead of Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro as far as the numbers are concerned. It’s won’t be surprising to see games that take full advantage of the Xbox One X’s performance will deliver a better experience on it compared to the PlayStation 4 Pro. That’s precisely what Project Cars 2 is going to do.

In an interview with Trusted Reviews, Project Cars 2 developer Stephen Viljoen said that Project Cars 2 graphics will look much better on the Xbox One X than the PlayStation 4 Pro. That’s because the game will take full advantage of the Xbox One X’s graphics processing power.

“I can’t tell you exactly what all the various sliders will be at when you’re on Xbox One X versus on PS4 Pro, but obviously, they’ll be higher, so there will be a significant, a noticeable improvement, because you have better hardware.” he said.

Since physics will be at the core of this game, the driving experience will be similar across different platforms so with respect to the actual gameplay itself, PlayStation 4 Pro owners will get an experience similar to what players on Xbox One X get.

Project Cars 2 is due for release next month. It’s going to be available starting September 22nd for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It’s available for pre-order for $59.99.
