Microsoft has confirmed that there are dozens of games that will receive enhancements to take full advantage of the processing power of the Xbox One X. Rise of the Tomb Raider happens to be one of those games. Developer Square Enix has confirmed what visual performance-related enhancements Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to get on the Xbox One X.

To highlight all of the improvements that Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to get on the Xbox One X, Square Enix has released a new trailer for the game.

As is the case with other games that are being enhanced for the Xbox One X, it’s all about visual improvements. Rise of the Tomb Raider players on the Xbox One X will get three visual modes to choose from.

Players who want the best possible graphics experience can choose to play the game in native 4K. They can opt for the Enriched Visual mode for “stunning graphic upgrades.” Players who want the smoothest gameplay experience can select the “High Frame Rate” mode.

Additional improvements include HDR support, Dolby Atmos and spatial audio support, improved textures for Lara Croft, NPCs, and environments aside from improved anti-aliasing.

Microsoft is going to release the Xbox One X globally on November 7th. Rise of the Tomb Raider is going to get these visual enhancements the very next day.
